The War in Ukraine

That take doesn't match history. Considering Russia didn't move on Ukraine while Trump was in office, but did so while Obama and Biden were... it would be more logical to suspect a more desperate Russia trying to solidify gains ahead of a Trump POTUS fearful that a change in administration would change the game for them. They know where Biden is at and Ukraine will lose without a change in the west.
Invasions take a long time to plan, don't think for a second the Feb 22 invasion wasn't already on the drawing board during the trump administration and their pattern of disengagement. He made it damn clear publicly during his presidency that he was against NATO. This emboldened russia and others to make more aggressive plays by taking advantage of fractured resolve.

Taking a hard stance to compel delinquent countries to pay MORE for defence spending to support NATO does not provide evidence to your suggestion he was against NATO... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: It was the delinquent countries' responses that emboldened Russia. Some of you people are hilarious.

How is Canada doing now with defence spending and it's military capability?

Then: Everyone laughing when Trump wanted to make NATO members invest in defence and reduce EU dependence on Russian energy.

Now: Same people - If Trump gets in Russia wins.

:ROFLMAO:

stating that he would pull out of NATO, and most recently saying any nation not paying 2% as if it was a hard target would not have the US come to it's aid is Anti-NATO, and undermines our collective defense. should nations pay more, yes. Under the trump administration, the US removed almost 12k US troops from Europe. Withheld aid to ukraine, and after his presidency praised Putin's invasion of ukraine as a smart move. Sorry there is Zero way you can convince me that somehow Trump was only trying to get others to pay his fair share. The facts of 2016 until today speak for them selves.

The inability to apply context to any of that is amusing. And on top of that, you ignore everything else.

The blame here lays with the sustained disinformation campaign that has been waged since at least 2016. Trump is a blowhard so it's easy to taint everything he touches, but almost nothing of what is said about him or his term has been accurate.

Made a shit deal with the Taliban and threw Afghanistan into the toilet…

Yes Biden didn’t need to stick to it, but I’d argue that he was already stuck with a shit sandwich Trump had made. I don’t forgive either of them for that one.

word out of Russia is that none of the Ukraine POW's will be allowed to return home. They will be charged and convicted of crimes against Russia and either sent to work prisons or forced into combat against Ukraine.

Arguably it was the execution of the plan that was shit. Its looking the same way with Ukraine, the execution of plans under Biden seem to be shit.

Remember that time when Trump was going to pull troops out of Europe and Biden reversed it? Yeah, Trump did his best to erode that alliance and took actual steps to do it.

Trump didn’t even enforce the plan requirements when he was in office. The Taliban kept violating it and he did nothing.

Anything thinking Trump takes a tough line against anything but people who diss him are smoking crack. The guy is out for #1.

The alliance is stronger than ever. We are winning. Lets keep doing everything we're doing.

GUR is making their rep in this war. Aided by many foreign retired SF types.
