He can stand and pronounce. He just cant be held to it in the House. A minor issue IMO as long as it does not drag on forever. And since the longest its going to be is like 6 months.
That’s the thing. Someone will be his deputy. That someone will be the face of the party in the house. That can have an impact.
As an example he is the PM but Freeland does all the debates in the house. At some point people will wonder who is really in charge.

For the good of Canada and election needs to be called right away, after the LPC leadership is decided. Whoever wins LPC or CPC a fresh start is needed.

im happy with the October election although i wonder if the Liberals will want to strike while the iron is hot poll wise. Of course this will put the government in caretaker mode with an unelected PM while dealing with one of the more serious matters in Confederation

I feel like there's a clear difference between wearing a $2000 made in Canada Parka going door to door, and wearing $2000 Italian sneakers pretending to play hockey. Don't you?
both are luxury items any way you look at it.
One is definitely more useful (when I was up in the Arctic most people had one) and the other seems to be more of a fashion statement. Can’t say I know much about those shoes,
I’d sooner buy the Canada Goose over the shoe myself assuming I had money to spare on those things.

Yup. So would most Canadians I bet. Ive seen a lot of Canadians with those Parkas. Even some I'd consider poor (that said they could be knock offs).
$2000 sneakers pretending to play ice hockey is a super stupid look anyway you look at it. Especially when you're trying to act as an outsider to the Liberal elite and a normal Canadian.

For me, I don't really give a damn that Mark Carney wears $2,000 shoes. The man has a lot more cash than I do and I make no mistake about it.
I am concerned with where he wants to take Canada. That is what bothers me. Hell, you wear a grain bag to show how poor you are but then declare you want to raise taxes 20%, 30%, whatever, forget it.
