It certainly doesn’t support the notion that young voters can’t/won’t support Carney.
Shows 18% young women support Team Blue.

I saw a post on X that said they'll happily pay $10 an egg to see where this goes.
Trumpism to many is change. And that's what's coming.
For those in Canada that are on the cancel-everything-USA, including those musing about cancelling the F-35 deal, they are only going to hurt themselves/Canada. Especially if they think Canada will get some magical deal better than anything the US can offer. EU and other countries care even less about Canada than the US does.
Bit of the pot calling the kettle black innit?Carney? That man has the charm and friendliness of a hermit crab.
Verbing the Noun is the opposite of what needs to be maintained strategy-wise if the Conservatives want to salvage something out of this election. If anything good comes out of this, it will be the Reform dorks getting purged from the higher echelon of the Party because they can't win shit.Thats not what I said and you know it. They need to hold onto the Canada first message, the 4 pillars (Ax the Tax, Build the homes, Stop the crime, grow the economy) and keep digging at Liberal wounds. Now, lets see where else they take this fight. We have an election to get to very soon, and they may have to wait to see what fumbles Carney makes. Then exploit it.
It's pretty funny. I see Liberals posting in total support of this.
"Now isn't the time to worry about gender and inclusion!"
You couldn't find a crisper about turn on the march at a RCR parade square.
Politics, where you are dammed for holding to your principles and dammed for being responsive to the electorateJust bringing this over to the right forum I think...
Anyways you have to hand it to the LPC. They can turn on a dime, and loyalty to anyone or principal is secondary to getting elected.
It really is impressive they way they can talk out of both sides of their mouths and get away with it.
And on this board- damned for doing what the people supposedly wanted.Politics, where you are dammed for holding to your principles and dammed for being responsive to the electorate

"The LPC has swerved too far left under Trudeau, they need to punt him and return to the party's proper centre left place in the spectrum" - bang on.
-> Trudeau pushed out, replaced with a central banker that has served in high level capacity with two countries - in both cases being selected by, and well reviewed by, Conservative governments, who was strongly rumoured to have been courted by the CPC through the 2010's
"Pfft, he's just a continuation of Trudeau, there will be no change" - wait, what?
-> Party starts to recruit former PC's, communicates focus on economy, demotes extreme LWers within (or right out of) cabinet, drops several social justicey/woke/ identity politics type portfolios from cabinet (drawing fire from the NDP), and generally shows the start of pretty major tack back to the centre
"Pfft, dishonest flip-flopping, how dare they"

The LPC, for a couple years, defended their carbon policy like it was a world saving bit of legislation only to simply abort like a unwanted fetus and applaud it's demise.
Dont get me wrong, I am glad to see the carbon tax reduced to zero, I simply question the motivations and sincerity of the LPC in doing it. I almost feel like they are patronizing.
But a real centrist in command of the LPC or CPC could really run away with things. Especially if they could ignore the screaming weenies on the extremes of both sides
I understand being hesitant to buy in completely, needing to see more to be convinced. But hoping it doesn't happen and trying to discredit the preliminary steps? Unserious. Its cool to be a Liberal man, I actually would come back to them under the right leadership and a drawing closer to the centre.
For my money they, the LPC, have set a course that has gone to the left flank of the NDP, and that has skewed the playing field.
Starting a fight with Rosemary Barton of all people. That's a bold strategy, let's see if it plays out.
They did it to take the wind out of Poilievre's sails... and it worked.
All signs point to the LPC making a meaningful directional shift- one that you personally advocated for, and explicitly said could win you back.

Absolutely the CPC are adrift right now. And they don't seem to be able to cope with the change.
All sing point to a directional change by the LPC its meaningfulness of it that I question.
It's the speed on the changes, it's a hard 180 that's bewildering and leaves me scratching my head.
Events, my dear boy, events.
It's almost like a drama teacher more at home in the NDP got replaced with an economist some (would*) have described as so blue of grit as to be purple. It's the speed on the changes, it's a hard 180 that's bewildering and leaves me scratching my head.
