Canadian Surface Combatant RFQ

The UKs ships had some cool names... Vengeance, Victory, Dauntless, Daring.. ect.. and American call signs are just equally awesome.
American ship names are as boring as our AOPS.

USS George M. Neal
USS Ted Stevens
USS Michael G. Mullen
USS Preble
etc.

What does it matter if frigate or DDG? Ship design appears to have all the electronics of a DDG.

Rivers?

Mackenzie
Fraser
Saskatchewan
Ottawa
St Lawrence
Churchill
Saguenay
Saint John
Churchill lol
Peace
Albany

???

If any of the Rivers are to be used, it should be the previously serving namesakes from the WWII era and Cold War classes. I would say something like:

Kootenay, Gatineau, Annapolis, Saguenay, Skeena, St. Laurent, Assiniboine, Mackenzie, Margaree, Chaudière, Restigouche, Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, Fraser and Nipigon.

The issue with provinces and territories is that there isn’t enough of them to fill out the 15 ship order.

I asked ChatGPT to come up with a list of ship names based on the characteristics/virtues of the 10 Canadians that were part of the CBC's "Greatest Canadian" program back in 2004. I then asked it to give me 5 more names based on the same theme. And we have:

HMCS Innovation
HMCS Unity
HMCS Integrity
HMCS Hope
HMCS Vision
HMCS Courage
HMCS Sustainability
HMCS Peacekeeper
HMCS Valour
HMCS Excellence
HMCS Endurance
HMCS Honour
HMCS Bravery
HMCS Resolve
HMCS Fortitude

See if you can guess which Canadian is associated with which ship name (the last 5 on the list are not based on Canadians).
