I strongly question the intent of the guy on the bottom...

"break my neck, or lose this armbar..."

You'd think it would be an easy choice, but evidently not.  ::)

Wow....I've seen some pretty painful moves but that took the cake.

I'd call that one a runner up for a Darwin.

Where the hell were the refs ?

Regards

I think I felt my C6/C7 crunch as I watched that. Ouch!  :crybaby:

Well, if you want to tickle my fancy..  you live in Toronto too...  ;)

(no seriously.. don't tickle my fancy.. really!)

KRIKKIES!

Ok I used to compete in Judo...what is that called, a "back bar"?  holy crap.

OUCH thats all I can say...

I thought my broken (now crooked) baby finger was bad...this guy is gonna have a "ZZ Top key tag" neck.

The guy on top was trying to pass his opponent's guard, but I've never seen it done like THAT before. Can anyone tell what the guy was trying to do?

It appears as if he stood to break the guard, and in doing so fed his right arm too deep.

The bloke on the bottom saw the opprotunity, and it looks as if he was trying to keep the arm in and potentially set him up for an arm bar.

Man on top, sat the weight back (more commonly found in a traingle choke escape), but did so in a...well, strange manner.

I think it was simply a bad decision, it happens a lot... but ow.

Most guys would have released the guard in that one though....I know that I did. Almost the same scenario, other arm.

I released my guard just in time....looking back on it now.

I think he was hoping that his opponent would have tapped out with enough pressure in the arm bar....obviously not.
