In 2024, I had a Favourable Entitled condition for Hearing Loss. How does one go about getting Hearing Aids? What is the process or what is the steps in order to get the Hearing Aids, seeing that VAC should cover them given I have an Entitled condition for Hearing Loss. Could someone tell me how to get this started in order get Hearing Aids please?

Are you still serving?
Unless they got out in the last 2 months, yes.

My immediate advice would be go to the CDU, VAC claims are for after a doctor has diagnosed something and started treating it for serving RegF members...

Roger.

In my experience hearing aids for released members through VAC is fairly easy and straight forward.

For serving members the coverage through bluecross is different and it can be extremely difficult to get. Even when the medical system says get this guy hearing aids bluecross says no. Ive seen someone recomended 3 times and still shot down. The guy I know with hearing aids through blue cross is practically deaf.

I'd suggest speaking wuth blue cross directly to see what their criteria is then checking with the cdu to see if your audiogram meets the threshold.
