Trudeau Popularity - or not (various polling, etc.)

That he may have been in the past, anyway, but I think he may be too far behind as a brand to catch up.

Maybe, but 1) people are paying a bit more attention for that sort of thing these days, and 2) barring events, PP's lead is his to hold - although I suspect it'll shrink a bit as any election day gets closer.
I think I agree with you on this. Trudeau has been playing the same play book over and over, I suspect most Canadians not only know it, they aren't falling for it.

If the U.S. doesn’t choose to release their intel on Trudeau and his heavy involvement with PRC and Workers Front-associated entities…Trudeau may depart at a time of his own choosing. It’s looking less and less like that will happen, and that the young Dauphin may need to get serious with a combo build legacy/GTFO Dodge face-saving contingency plan.

The sharks are circling…

That’s some scary 💩 right there. Wasn’t it yesterday the feds convinced the Hogue commission to seal documents for 99 years?

Yup ...

New EKOS poll.

I’m curious as to what the other polls will be saying.

Aggregate 338 is showing several weeks of incline but still in the basement trend. Will be interesting to see 338 on Sunday. But going from 22pt difference to 10.5 is a big drop but still a wide gap.

Definitely the LPC is eating some NDP support.
Following on what some other polls are showing.

16 point difference with the LPC back in second. Looks like the NDP a losing some ground.

19 point difference with LPC in second.

CPC with margin of error drops.

Do you take issue with the commission’s approach in the case of those two witnesses? If so, what alternative do you propose?

I think he’s referring to the report by the United Front-linked group crowing about their success in influencing the 2019 elections…

I see the LPC announcement machine has been gearing up with service/funding announcements increasing, expect to see this slowly ramp up as we get closer to the possible election date.

Two sides of the same coin.
I'd have to disagree with you on that...I don't think Trudeau & Trump could be more opposite

One seems to hold his citizens in contempt. He sneaks through unpopular legislation that NOBODY asked for or wants, has authorized so much spending our national debt is well on its way to being almost triple what it was when he took office, and is successfully destroying everything of any unique Canadian value. Even if an election happened tomorrow, his doings have created an economic environment that will present the country with some very real economic crisis for years to come, some of which are right around the corner.

Despite losing ridings that were once faithful to the LPC, despite record low polling numbers, and despite almost half of the LPC caucus voicing their dissatisfaction with him and asking for his resignation (and roughly 43 of them even putting their signature to paper in DEMANDING his resignation) he STILL insists on remaining the PM...

The people don't want him. His own party doesn't want him. World leaders don't want him. And yet he will stand before any crowd or any camera he can find and start preaching about our democracy while simultaneously crapping all over it...

The other is Donald Trump. A guy who has been endorsed by various law enforcement organizations across the US, endorsed by various veterans organizations, and who won the election with a healthy lead despite some blatantly questionable lawfare, smear campaigns, a hostile mainstream media, and 2 assassination attempts.

...

His goal is to make America great again - whether people agree with his approach to doing that is up for them to decide.

Is Trudeau trying to make Canada the best it's ever been? I think we all know the answer to that...

So I disagree that they are 2 sides of the same coin. Their objectives are polar opposite of each other.

Trudeau has never had the intention of making Canada great. On the contrary, he's about right on schedule killing our natural resources, economy, health system, trade, manufacturing, living conditions. The only things he’s expanded on is our national debt, homelessness and the public service. He's almost made us into the post national state he promised us in 2015. That's his plan for Canada. Everything else is smoke, mirrors and gaslighting.
