I agree with the first part but not with the second. Trump is a grandstanding idiot. He also has a lot of yes men and bought media that will claim whatever happens was the plan all along. Russian propaganda works the same way. Trump has been exactly the same since the 80s: a relentlessly self promoting grifter who preys on the ignorant and the careless. Just because better people than him step in to fix the problems he creates doesn't mean he's some kind of master manipulator.

I'd like to think that Poland and Ukraine are working on something together, quite possibly with the Baltic states. Between the 5 of them I have zero doubt that they have enough 60+ year old's with enough experience, patriotism, old note books and backing to make it happen. Access to enough enriched uranium might be a bit of a stumbling block but it shouldn't stop them.
