Someone should translate this into Russian:
Sorry Dimsum, I'm not tracking what you mean here?Biden wasn’t exactly a super Warhawk on Russia since 2022…
His support for Ukraine has been slow as molasses. Billions of dollars of aid that was authorized has sunset under his watch.Sorry Dimsum, I'm not tracking what you mean here?
I'd never heard that before. Interesting...His support for Ukraine has been slow as molasses. Billions of dollars of aid that was authorized has sunset under his watch.

Thats because I am not convinced America wanted Ukraine to win, rather to hurt Russia. His support for Ukraine has been slow as molasses. Billions of dollars of aid that was authorized has sunset under his watch.
Sort of like a mild version of “Canada will meet its NATO 2% goal by 2032…”I'd never heard that before. Interesting...
So when the media announces "America is sending an additional $10 billion of aid money to Ukraine..." some of those funds aren't actually getting there due to tardiness?
Ditto.Thats because I am not convinced America wanted Ukraine to win, rather to hurt Russia.
Drip feed enough equipment to keep Russia bleeding, yet not enough to actually win the war.
Imagine the difference if we had sent all the equipment we sent year one instead of piecemeal over the years. It isn’t like that equipment didn’t already exist and was awaiting production.

So Presidential Drawdown is from current stock (as was the sunset Lend Lease Act).It isn’t like that equipment didn’t already exist and was awaiting production.
The Biden Administration has been playing “Mother may I” since day one. Ukraine asks for weapons systems, US says “no” for months, then when things look bleak, the US releases said weapons systems to Ukraine in limited numbers and capabilities. Spin, repeat.Sorry Dimsum, I'm not tracking what you mean here?
Trump is a wild card. The Biden Administration has been playing “Mother may I” since day one. Ukraine asks for weapons systems, US says “no” for months, then when things look bleak, the US releases said weapons systems to Ukraine in limited numbers and capabilities. Spin, repeat.
Many in the US want to open the floodgates to Ukraine , but they don’t have influence in either the Biden Administration or the incoming Trump Administration. Right now, the Ukrainians are facing one administration that wants to starve them and another that wants to feed them just enough to not starve, but not enough to sustain them.
In my opinion we should arm Ukraine to the hilt and untie their hands but not send troops into the country. It is the Ukrainians’ war and it is up to them how far and how long to defend themselves and push back the invaders. We should support them this and it’s not up to us for them to decide if or when to give up.
Maybe they can become the 52nd state.Trump is a wild card.
He was pro-Ukraine during his Presidency, to at least strengthen them to avoid a repeat of Crimea.
Several of his Advisors are Pro Ukraine, but he has a lot of folks who also represent the Kremlin narrative. So seeing who wins will be interesting.
Biden’s responses were very carefully watered down by Jake Sullivan.
It either that or he'll threaten them with Tariffs unless they do something about their terrible border situation...Maybe they can become the 52nd state.
Already is uselessUN Security Council becomes a cipher.
Hush - he might put/keep tariffs on Canada until we actually arrive at 2% (or 3.25% or whatever the new number is) of GDP actually spent appropriately on defenseIt either that or he'll threaten them with Tariffs unless they do something about their terrible border situation...
