U.S. Senior District Judge Richard Bennett wrote in a 179-page decisionthat the Naval Academy "established a compelling national security interest in a diverse officer corps" for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and tied its use of race in admissions to "the realization of an officer corps that represents the country it protects and the people it leads."
I think the article fits this thread:

Walmart will be cutting back its “diversity, equity and inclusion” programs and other forms of what conservatives deride as corporate wokeness.
In the case of the military (and other govt institutions I’m sure, but this example is of the military), it’s not exactly the same as a corporation though.Typical... government organizations are always lagging behind the private sector, e.g., Why Companies Are Backing Away From DEI Programs
Walmart dumps DEI programs amid conservative backlash: ‘Biggest win yet’
The world’s biggest retailer isn’t such a fan of DEI efforts any more.
Walmart will be cutting back its “diversity, equity and inclusion” programs and other forms of what conservatives deride as corporate wokeness.
Walmart also agreed to stop using the terms “DEI” and “Latinx” in official communication, to review its marketplace for sexually inappropriate products being marketed as gay material, and no longer consider diversity efforts among its contractors and suppliers.

A Northern Ontario mayor who was fined for voting against flying a Pride flag at his town hall says he will not be bullied into paying the $5,000 penalty.
Nor will Mayor Harold McQuaker be taking LGBTQ training as he has been ordered to by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO)
And, McQuaker, insisted he won’t cave to demands that he must host a Drag Time story hour in the local library, either.
An Ontario town and its mayor have been fined a total of $15,000 for refusing to celebrate Pride Month.
In a decision from Nov. 20, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ordered the Town of Emo to pay $10,000 and Mayor Harold McQuaker to pay $5,000 to Borderland Pride for violating the Human Rights Code and discriminating against the organization. The tribunal has also ordered the town’s mayor and CAO to complete human rights training.
The issue began in 2020, when Borderland Pride requested the town declare June as Pride Month and fly or display a LGBTQ2S+ flag for a week during the month of June.
The resolution was defeated 3-2.

These radical pride groups will soon be a distant memory.
the town didn't. That is why they got hammered. It is the judge who needs to be taken out to the woodshedWhy should a town cater to their extreme minority cult groups?
These radical pride groups will soon be a distant memory.
We fly a Ukrainian flag over City Hall and have since 22 Feb 2022. Why? A show of solidarity with those in our community (including a large amount of folks who lost everything in the war) who are hurting and healing. Why should a town cater to their extreme minority cult groups?
And why do you think that is?These radical pride groups will soon be a distant memory.

Its still done for Pride Month, for the same reasons, without it having to be a "minority cult group." There are more LGBTQ2IA+ folks in my city than there are Ukranians, but here we are.
And why do you think that is?
Maybe the erroding of gay/trans/women's rights? The legislative actions taken against the LGBTQ2IA+ community that affects their ability to receive anything from life insurance payouts to healthcare to contraception? The fact that a lot of trans and non-binary folks are going back into the closet because they no longer feel safe in a society that is rolling back protections for them?
The "Rainbow People" aren't going to disappear, like they haven't for the milennia we have existed as a species. They are part of our history, our current society, and will be a continuing voice in the future.
Has the CPC said they would stop that? I haven’t heard anything to that effect.
I wouldn’t hold my breath on that.
Are you seriously saying that LGBTQ groups will disappear because we (the general public) don’t see it? That’s like saying sexual assault didn’t happen in the CAF decades ago because no one was willing to bring it up publicly.Ignore these groups, don’t give them any special treatment, which is all they want, and they’ll disappear.
And why do you think they now enjoy the same rights the rest of society do?What rights do gay/trans/alphabet groups don’t have that the rest of society do?
Lemme explain it to you (I suspect you know it already and just want to jump on the far left radical band wagon AGAIN)Are you seriously saying that LGBTQ groups will disappear because we (the general public) don’t see it? As @rmc_wannabe says, being LGBTQ isn’t a new phenomenon.
And why do you think they now enjoy the same rights the rest of society do?
You’re suggesting (correctly) that they now enjoy the same rights, but you’re missing the point that they do so because they pushed for it publicly and convinced laws to change.
There are a lot of things the CPC hasn't said they were going to do. So what is your point in this this comment other than to smear the CPC again?Has the CPC said they would stop that? I haven’t heard anything to that effect.
Explain why you think they are stupid? Stupid to me is being quick to attach a label to someone or an organization just because you don't like their decisions. The Human Rights tribunal is not a good standard to go by. Look at its very questionable history.Stupid is as stupid does
And why do you think they now enjoy the same rights the rest of society do?
