Looking for an old signature

Hi, I remember seeing a signature from someone (I don't remember who) about 2 months ago..  All I remember of it is that it was a good one and I'm trying to remember it...

It was something like:

"The soldiers.........., so nothing is what they will get"

I know, like that it's not good, but I remember to have a good laugh reading it!!  anyone remember??

Was it a quote or something someone made up...because if it's a quote I'll try to hunt it down for you...

It's scott1nsh's sig:

It's a remark that's been around for at least a few decades.
