I just underwent hernia surgery roughly two weeks ago. I had experienced a hernia in my mid teens that corrected itself, and I (foolishly) expected the same sort of outcome from my current experience. My bad.

If you can exert the minimum expected on the CAF PE test, then go for it. Be aware that any injuries incurred on the test will likely disqualify you from further processing.

If you are younger (<45 yrs) I would suggest that you do it.

I had a hernia when I was in as well. I had it fixed. No problems since then.

I'm old so take that FWIW.
