Can anyone tell me if recruits get any days in the week like weekend during BMQ where they don‘t have to do training..or is training like 7 days a week. Also can you talk to you family on phone during BMQ?

Reserve or Regular.
On the reserve side, we got one full weekend off on my BMQ, and a few ours ‘off‘ where we could go to the pool, CANEX, etc, on the other weekends. There was a payphone in the barracks, so we could call home whenever we where not training. There was also a rather expensive internet kiosk.

Most likley you will not get any time off untill the 4th weekend and then weekends are off, IF YOU ARE GOOD! untill then it‘s basicly 24/7
