Land grab bonanza is well underway it seems.
Realistically what would the Russians be able to do to prevent it at the moment?I've read similar reports but based on the size of the convoy's that I've seen, I don't think the Israeli's would be able to destroy anything close to 50% or more of that equipment. I can't see the Russians sitting back and allowing that to occur.
Not much, but Russian have long memories and can hurt Israel in the long run. Israel has enough enemies, it will not go out of it's way to create another. Particularly if there is no gain in it.Realistically what would the Russians be able to do to prevent it at the moment?
Awful but unsurprising. Assad’s a monster.Whoa...
Hundreds of thousands of bodies could be buried in Syrian mass graves, advocacy group says
Syrians are starting to uncover mass graves across the country, shedding light on the magnitude of atrocities committed during the brutal rule of ousted dictator Bashar al-Assad.
Since Assad fled Syria on December 8 following the collapse of his regime, scores of Syrian families still have no answer about what happened to their loved ones following their detention by Assad’s secret police.

Hundreds of thousands of bodies of people “tortured to death by the Assad regime” could be buried in a mass grave east of Damascus, according to Mouaz Moustafa, executive director of the US-based Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), an anti-Assad advocacy group.
I mean it isn't like the world didn't watch multiple atrocities in Syria occur in the last decade.Awful but unsurprising. Assad’s a monster.
"Never Again" rears its ugly head....does it not?I mean it isn't like the world didn't watch multiple atrocities in Syria occur in the last decade.
No one should be shocked now.
whoopsI don't think they want Iran in Syria, as for the Russians, I suspect they will allow a complete withdrawal or allow them to hold the naval, airbase (minus bombers) for a annual fee. The State is going to need a revenue flow.
I bet KSA and UAE are very busy offering deals to HTS and others to provide aid as long as they keep things calm and avoid going full Islamic Retard. Syria is going to need access to the coastal ports to facilitate that aid.
The West should be jumping on this moment to provide support to build up the Lebanese army and their allies within that country. With Iran losing a ground link to Hezbollah and it has been so heavily hit by Israel, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to give that country some autonomy and real self rule.
