Anyone hear anything about the veh techs?

Time varys my man, there is no way of telling how long it will take them to notify all the recruiting centers and then for your local center to get back to you. Im in the same boat is you an i was told just to hang tight and get use to stuff like that.

Because your 16 and have a year or so to finish school the bigger question is will infantry be open. some sort of combat arms usually are but you never know. Also like Romanmaz said it is very competitive. Keep your options open and good luck man.

Finlay got my call. well just for my interview, Tuesday April 5th. Now all i need to do is my medical and fitness test. Maby i will end up seeing you guys sometime this summer.

i would agree, don't jumping right into the reg, start small and see if you actual like it because like you said you don't know to much of what it is about. also for getting fit and building muscle there is a lot of info on that kinda stuff on the net, basics just drink a lot of water eat lots...

i don't think that your service number is that important. neither i or my friends put it on our applications and they didn't say anything about it. And yes being a cadet helps you get in but i wouldn't say it would speed up the proses any.

i am also going for Mar Eng Mech, took My CFAT on March 22 and now just waiting to finish up the rest. Hopefully i will get to join some of you guys this summer as well and see you in the fleet some time soon.
