I was a member of C Coy, 2 PPCLI attached to the 3 PPCLI BG during Op Apollo. All members of C Coy were invited to the presentation and wear the Citation on there left DEU pocket to this day. I also wear the 2 PPCLI CinC Commendation for Medak above my right pocket, given that I was not there...
While deployed in 2006, my father sent me a random rubber chicken and a few sets of heavy rubber gloves.
My driver loved the gloves. Saved him from wiping his hands off in moon dust after fueling the LAV.
And the rubber chicken? Interestingly enough my Coy was attached to the 1 RCR Battle...
I am bothered by an inaccuracy in the MSM's coverage of todays G20 "escalation of force".
They are starting to refer to this self proclaimed splinter group as the "Black Block":

"As well, anarchists in a splinter group were...
To add on to HoM's comment, I also trusted all my section completely. Having said that, I didn't want to miss any second of a wng o coming over the BG net and split second ROE decisions were made a lot easier by having a senior guy close by.

Okay, yes I recieved an MID. Thanks to all who noticed....
Edited to stop getting my friends jacked up....
Pot corn...I love it. I'll have to relay that back to my development partner.
On another less serious note, I believe that fighting in these conditions has led to the sighting of a ferocious beast that inhabits the stagnant waters of the Argendab river. Those of you from B.C. would most...
About two weeks ago, one of our section commanders went to see the travel folks to sort out his HLTA. He was surprised to see his location in theatre still described as Camp Nathan Smith. He assured her that A Coy’s actually location was the HODHIMF.
When she asked what the HODHIMF was, he...
If you like Hackworth and are interested in the medical side of things, I would recommend: "Vietnam 1968-1969: A Battalion Surgeon's Journal" by Dr. Byron E. Holley.
I'm a bassist as well.
And I was in Wainwright all summer. Sitting in 626 jamming by myself. Oh well.
I play an Ibanez SR 400 and an SRX 505. I also have a fretless '72 Precision, but I rarely take that out.
I'm running it all through a Yorkville Bassmaster 200w combo. As for effects, I...
