Absolutely true, noting (unsurprisingly, to me anyway) that membership endorsement (or lack therof) doesn’t bind the National Board to any explicit action regarding the Leader.Under 47.a, loss of an election will automatically trigger a Leadership Endorsement Ballot of all registered Liberals.
Likely not. It’s entirely up to the National Board to decide when the leadership election takes place. Normally not less than 90 days from when the National President forms the Vote Committee, but the LPC constitution allows sufficient consideration to either expedite to take a period of sufficient duration to ensure that Canadians are most appropriately represented by a Liberal Party leader who represents the fabric of the wonderful country that is Canada….again, at the whim of the National President and whoever (tee hee) is appointed/asked to be the Interim Leader. Are these Liberals going to hold their leadership election before the budget vote or is this just another waste of time?
Elon Musk doesn’t think much of Trudeau? Hmmm, in which case maybe Justin isn’t quite as detestable after all.
Musk worked as a Mill hand in Canada, so he has an interest in the place.Elon Musk doesn’t think much of Trudeau? Hmmm, in which case maybe Justin isn’t quite as detestable after all.
Well at least he’s done real work , credit where due. That said, some in these parts say we should also worry about unelected foreign bazillionaires influencing our politics, so …Musk worked as a Mill hand in Canada, so he has an interest in the place.

Speaking for myself, all bazillionaires worry me, but you're right in that which bazillionaires some distrust can vary depending on their take.Is that all bazillionaireas or just the ones Liberals don't agree with ?
Meanwhile, in the Twitterverse ...
The Ipsos 7 Jan 24 poll shows the Conservatives maintaining momentum. It will be interesting to see how that changes, one way or the other.

And then there's good ol' Mad Max...
Max Aitken, 1st Baron Beaverbrook
With Churchill's blessing, Beaverbrook overhauled all aspects of war-time aircraft production. He increased production targets by 15% across the board, took control of aircraft repairs and RAF storage units, replaced the management of plants that were underperforming, and released German Jewish engineers from internment to work in the factories. He seized materials and equipment destined for other departments and was perpetually at odds with the Air Ministry. "Even if Britain goes down this fall, it will not be Lord Beaverbrook's fault. If she holds out, it will be his triumph. This war is a war of machines. It will be won on the assembly line."
