Trudeau Popularity - or not (various polling, etc.)

Temporary measures pretty much always have the effect of rearranging spending in time.

The $250 rebate is too small to be very useful; it's an insult to people now living off the income of previous working years. People whose only income is OAS/GIS could definitely use every little bit extra.

Take the bait, spit out the hook, and despise the government more.

Hmmm….so what ‘intervention’ is the NDP recommending. Take all the tickets from those who bought them, and redistribute them in a Swifty-Pool? 🇨🇳
Amber Chadwick would do just about anything for her little sister... including dropping nearly 15-thousand dollars on flights, Toronto accommodations , and a single Taylor Swift ticket. As Noor Ra'fat reports, Swifties are getting tired of ticket price-gouging ... and the NDP, along with researchers, say its time for intervention.

Did he pay for his own tickets or did we?
He got “Aga Khan’d”

People who worked full or part time in 2023 get it. Example - PRes/MacDonalds full time student A person on disability or was disabled as result of an accident, don't. Seniors as stated no.
So, a two-income family making up to $150 each, for a combined income of $300 K, gets $500. Thats ridiculous.

The total cost of this stupidity is twice what the Bloc wanted for OAS (in the first year), and the Liberals refused.

P.S. Wonder if I can get a part time job for one/two weeks as a Wal Mart greeter before 31 Dec.

Because younger females are the target market, quel suprise! ;)

I'm reading some of those tickets go for $33,000.

I hope Trudeau at least brought his kids to the concert and wasn't there solo.

Edit: looks like he brought his family. That was nice.

He's single now, great place to meet chicks.
A 52 year old multi millionaire man with a serious mental illness and a penchant for perversion is hanging out with 13-15 year old girls, autographing their wrists, exchanging baby block bracelets and putting his arms around them for selfies. 🤬

Well, he has a fondness for 'music festivals' if you recall ;)

A former newspaper reporter said Friday that allegations in an editorial claiming Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau groped her at a musical festival 18 years ago are true, but she considers the matter closed.

Jesus dude. He took his teenage daughter to a concert because he can afford to. Yeah, he’s the PM, most people never get to meet him, so he got asked for some selfies and souvenirs by others in the crowd. Get a grip.

I’m quite convinced that by every objective standard that the man is a fraud, a pervert, a narcissist, a Manchurian PM, a philanderer, a rogue, an extortionist, mental abuser, master of deceit and deception, and a clear and present danger. To the extent there is room in all that for genuine affection for his own children, it’s only to fulfill his own deeply unwell psychological needs. That’s the grip of logic and reason.

I have a bunch of friends in their 30s/40s who also went to the concerts in Toronto. I also know folks in their 30s/40s literally travel around the world (one went to Japan) to see her concert there. These are lawyers (specifically the one who went to Japan), business owners, CAF members, etc.

I think you’re mistaken at the wide swath of her fans’ ages and backgrounds.

I took my own daughter and her friends to Taylor Swift in Toronto in 2013. Dropped them off at the front door, picked them up. No need to go in.

And I’m talking about the images flooding social media of him mixing himself up with the group of young girls next to his family.
