The RCAF's Next Generation Fighter (CF-188 Replacement)

I would say this is a very positive report on the F35s first "combat" deployment.

The F35I specifically "The F-35I, an Israeli-specific variant of the F-35 Lightning II, has been customized with Israeli avionics, software, and systems, enabling the Israeli Air Force to carry out missions with exceptional precision and efficiency."
How much more capable is it? As far as I know the only customer allowed to modify the base F35A and the U.S. government pays for it all with military aid. We need them to help us with our procurement programs.

But we don't have an enemy state actively trying to wipe us off the face of the earth.

Sopwith Camels will be just fine TYVM!!!!

Ironically, there was another post saying that AN-2 biplanes were being used to shoot down UAS.

We’re at the point where a Sopwith Camel (slow, low radar cross section) might actually do not too bad.
