terminal ballistics of the 5.56

To throw a few questions out there..........
Has anybody heard any bad things about the 5.56 in ass-cracka-stan? stopping power and such?
I always thought we had a slightly heavier and hotter round the the US but now I am hearing different.

C77 is a SS109 type bullet same as US M855 -- C77 is typically about 150fps slower at the muzzle than LC M855 lots.
