Do we always have to say the person's rank when speaking to them? Like I have to call to my unit and speak with a MCpl.  Do I have to ask for MCpl ***.  And when he answers say "Hi MCpl?, etc etc..."?

May sound a stupid question but I wanna make sure not to do any mistakes.

Yes. Until s/he tells you otherwise, and under what conditions.

If you haven't been to BMQ/BMOQ, no one is going to rip your head off, just speak with respect and you can't go wrong. Don't overuse someone's rank, especially while you're still a civilian.
