Members have been offering their opinions and knowledge around a dozen topics involving natural hazard events in Canada. The forum's collective insights focus on the impacts on the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and have explored new ways to solve some of the problems these hazards cause. With your unique perspective and interest in large-scale disasters in Canada, we invite you to participate in a survey. Permission for posting this academic survey has been sought and approved by the site’s Owner.

About the Survey:
This survey, part of an academic study conducted through and approved by Royal Roads University (RRU), aims to understand what prevents people from volunteering with the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that are part of the Canadian Humanitarian Workforce (HWF) program. Your participation could help us identify barriers for volunteers and pave the way for more effective disaster response by the NGOs involved with the HWF program.

Who Can Participate?
You are encouraged to take this survey if you are between 19 and 65 years old. If you don't fit this age range, please consider sharing the study with someone who does.

Why Participate?
Upon completing the survey, you may have the opportunity to contribute further to our research by participating in a focus group. Your answers are anonymous, and no personal information will be collected. We truly value your time and the insights you can provide through this survey. Your participation will greatly contribute to this research.

Thank You!
