Supp Tech

Greetings to all!

I am in the Reserves and finishing BMQ. I will be a Supp Tech and was wondering if anyone could give me specific details on that trade training. Duration, is it longer or shorter for Reserves, is it the same length, will I still have to do SQ etc.

I know someone may recommend that I speak to someone at my Unit but things are unclear at the present time.

I went through the Reg Force trade training, but I assume it's similiar in the reserves.  For Supply Tech QL3, you mostly do everything on the computer...you'll learn to use the MIMs system, stocktaking, issues and receipts, inventory, warehouse stocking system.  Aside from that, you should also get a course on using the forklift, and also a separate DND 404 course (driving course).
