If its one thing I‘ve learned in the army, its to stay out of a mine field,
but....
You‘re right, it was promised although if you read the "Red Book" it was a
fairly well qualified promise - and I
agree, that was purposely deceptive. Having said that, it was a bad promise.
It should have never been made,
and I don‘t think making it changed the results of the 1993 election. If only
the government didn‘t keep its other bad promise
helicopters....
