Hey All, I dunno if this is the right place or not, but, seems to be. upon reading the London Free Press I came across this in the Reader to Reader section and I figured this Person Might get more of a response or might get more information here so I'm copying his Post into here and if anyone wants to get in touch with him with some info Kewl
Or write to him and Pass along info to who he could get in contact with who would be able to help him better.

"Please can any of your good readers help me. I am researching our local war time airfield Wellesbourne Mountford which was a large Canadian Airbase from 1941 to 1945.

A total of 315 Airmen lost their lives flying from it, 243 of them Royal Canadian Airforce.

We have a small museum on the old airfield to put photos on show. I would like to get photos of these RCAF airmen who lost their lives so tragically.

P/O C.D.H. Archer J9586, age 23 years, from Phelpston, Ontario.

F/S William Allan Boundy R136109, age 20 years, from Cobourg, Ontario.

Sgt. G.A. Chevrier R279581, age 19 years, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Sgt. W.H. Clarke R193583, age 22 years, from Washago, Ontario.

F/S E. G. White R35938, age 23 years, from Richmond Hill, Ontario.

F/O P.W. Tokar J27116, age 22 years, from Fenwick, Ontario.

We must never forget these brave Airmen.

Thank you in anticipation.
