Sikh & India (Alleged) Shenanigans in Canada (split fm Non-Muslim terr thread)

This got a good laugh out of me. Seems Indian propaganda is in full swing.
That’s some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. Not that I tend to take the Sun seriously, but they made a hard pivot into utter tabloid rag territory with that nonsense.

Speaking of IND media, some are dragging Pakistan into the fray now ...

Deny, Deny, Deny, and make counter accusations.
Agreed, but like much of this stuff, based on a kernel of truth: as a false flag, it would certainly play to PAK's interests in screwing up IND - let's you and Canada fight a bit.

Indian media can make the News of the World look like the Times . Actually a lot of the time they can make the National Inquirer look like the Times.

Interesting article from NPR:

Why India's warnings about Sikh separatism don't get much traction in the West
And also interesting that is State Department is noted as not having officially stated that Khalistani movements in the US are terrorist organizations.

In Canada, not much attention is brought to bear on the official Canadian position that Khalistani separatists in Canada operating under the auspices of Babbar Khalsa Imternational, are in fact considered officially as terrorists:

It wasn’t the Sun’s story. They were reporting what a certain….interesting…part of the India Media were reporting.
They still happily hopped on the opportunity to write about it- a nice roundabout way to post salacious garbage under the veneer of reporting the response.

Apparently only Sikhs only make up 2% of India's population and folks in the Punjab kinda wish the expat Sikh community would just shut up about Khalistan.

On another note, we have a history of playing footsie with separatist groups, (Tamil Tigers). That has to stop, but our political parties just can't keep away from the flame when it comes to leveraging foreign issues with winning a seat in Brampton.
