Sikh & India (Alleged) Shenanigans in Canada (split fm Non-Muslim terr thread)

Pierre Trudeau failed both Canada and India by not taking the threats to India and to us seriously.
actually nobody on our side comes off looking particularly good.
Not Trudeau nor his successors in office neither whom took it seriously or attempted understood it.
Not the RCMP and CSIS who were unable to pull their collective heads out their collective rectal channels .
There was violence in BC directly tied to the various separatist movements . A former Federal Cabinet minister and journalist was assaulted and almost killed in a beating.
These guys blew a fucking airliner to piece's and still the Government in Canada in all it's wisdom still viewed this as somebody's else problem.
In spite of the fact that most of those killed were Canadian.
The trial was a joke watching the protectors of our National Security who were busily engaged in what amounted to a dick measuring contest .
As well one of those agencies couldn't or wouldn't understand their purpose in the whole process. The destruction of vitally needed evidence was act of utter....( I'm trying, perhaps not successfully to froth at the mouth at this point. )
Later on we had an unsuccessful assassination attempt at an Indian Cabinet minister on Canadian soil.
Can I ask why we're actually surprised by any of this ?
Actually I am pretty there are a couple of reasons why this occurring now.
Mohdi is an Hindu ultra nationalist who simply doesn't care what we think .
That's because unlike the Americans we can't do anything that might even mildly disturb them .
We on the other hand simply refuse to understand how the world really works .
I suspect that the final straw probably came about because of that Gong show of a visit to India.
The inclusion of someone who's basically a walking insult to the Government of India inside your official party
Add the the usual virtue signalling that Canadian politicians are now famous for.
It probably didn't help that it must have blatantly obvious that this wasn't a state visit. This was a political campaign gimmick in order show what a great and powerful world leader our Prime Minister is.
The only message the Indian Government could take from this was "IN YOUR FACE".
We are now seeing the end result of almost 40 years of failure in law enforcement, intelligence ,and diplomacy.
It has cost Canadian lives and some of that on our very soil at the hands of what's supposed to one of our friends.
One can only shudder at the possibilities if it had been one of our possible opponents.
I am still dismayed about the investigation and handling of the Air India bombing and reactions of some Canadians to it. AND PET was the second worst PM in our lifetime only outdone by his poncy son JT.

Gotcha?

Seems the current NSIA (National Security and Intelligence Advisor) has seen no link between Indian PM Modi and the alleged interference and murder plotting in Canada.

So if the NSIA has no such indications, including intelligence briefed to her from CSIS, why did Trudeau feel justinfied to drop aspersions that Modi was involved?

No evidence linking Modi to criminal activity in Canada: national security adviser

because he has never learned to think before putting his mouth in gear

Survey says: BAD India!

You know this graph reminds me of a conversation in the Godfather II:

"Your father respected Hyman Roth but he never trusted Hyman Roth"

Same goes for the Indian government.

I guess this is reaching the point where CSIS thinks PP really needs to know something.

Just get the clearance already…

Links aren’t loading for me but I found it elsewhere. Interesting that they’re doing this via the Threat Reduction Measure legal authority to release info. That’s the same thing they could do for a business or a research lab or what have you.

Now they're dragging their back home bullshit into the House of Commons. All over the 1984 anti Sikh riots that took place in India, after PM Gandhi was assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards. To the point that it has put MPs from the same party, open to possible violence from one another.

Like we don't have enough problems of our own without Indian secular MPs from the liberal party wasting time on something that has nothing to do with the current plight of Canadians, caused by their own party.

Personally, I don't give a damn about their problems. They aren't Canada's problems. Take them home and sort them out there.

Meanwhile, not shocked....

Criminologist says Canada should better track foreign student departures

A Canadian criminologist who once worked on inland immigration enforcement for the Canada Border Services Agency said Canada needs to better track foreign nationals who arrive in the country on student visas.

Kelly Sundberg, a professor at Mount Royal University, said he was not shocked to hear that Indian law enforcement agencies are investigating links between Canadian colleges and a scheme to ferry international students across the Canada-U. S. border.

"I'm not surprised that our ridiculous honour-based immigration program is being gamed by transnational criminals. That doesn't surprise me at all," Sundberg said.

India's Enforcement Directorate said on Tuesday it had uncovered evidence of human trafficking after launching an investigation on the Indian connections the deaths of Jagdish and Vaishali Patel and their two children in January 2022.

The Indian family was found dead from the cold near the Manitoba-Minnesota border and last month an American and an Indian man were convicted of bringing unauthorized people into the U.S. and profiting from it.

The Indian agency says it has evidence that an Indian national allegedly arranged for people to get admissions to Canadian colleges in order to get a student visa for Canada, intending to then cross into the U.S. with no plan to actually study in Canada.
