I live in Montreal. Over here highschool ends at grade11. A prerequisite for joining is having a high school diploma, does this mean I have to have grade twelve, the equivalent of a first year of college? :fifty:

That depends on what trade you are looking at.  Some require Grade 12 or equivalent courses.  Check the www.forces.ca website or your local CFRC.

No you don't need to go to college to get "grade 12."
If in your area high school completion is grade 11,it is equivalent to grade 12.
