I'm just wondering if anyone out there can recommend any good over glasses sunglasses that I might be able to procure because, due to a lack of funds at the moment, I am not able to buy prescription sunglasses. Also any experience feedback with such items would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ed

While I was in Norway this winter, I used the Fitovers Navigator Overglasses. They worked great and had an awesome "70's porn star" look about them that caused alot of humor in my platoon.

At Cadet Camp Vernon theres a CATO (or something like it) stating that your not allowed to wear reflective sunglasses (even with a Chit from the MO to wear sunglasses) They have to be of the non reflective variety, Is this rule apply to Reg & Reserve Force Guys as well?

Can anyone help me with this one? Im going away to my BMQ before too long, and the glasses i have are transitions (go dark outside and clear inside). Would this be ok for BMQ/SQ?

mirroized bad  transitions ok  non reflective good  ... keep the frames wire and black  shouldnt be a prob. just depends on whos running the show and what your reasons are for wearing them .

Alright thanks... As long as I'm not gonna get balled out for not being able to see... i think there'll be no problem ha ha

in afghanistan they issued us the genisis model with the expresso coloured lenses . its a failry good combo  the greys also as long as they are not mirrored

Sunglasses are a huge headache with some chain of commands.

It will all depend upon what the local food chain feels is too relfective.

I wear Oakley Half-Wires and M Frames - some times a Sgt Maj will feel they are too relfective for his liking...  ::)

Hell right now we aren't offically allowed to wear the issued sunglasses during morning sunny pt. ::)

These arnt reflective at all. You can see right through them even when their as dark as they get. Thanks for the info :D
