nervous about starting reserves training

Hey everyone. I'm starting my reserves weekend training on the 28th and I'm getting really nervous because i have no idea what to expect when i get there. I'm just looking for any information about what my first weekend will be like so i can be mentally prepared.

The best advice I can give you is to not worry about it. The staff there will have likely run a BMQ before and they will make sure your first weekend is spent telling you what to expect. And classes. Lots of classes.

Oh, and you'll likely sleep on a parade square. On a cot. With forty other students. Bring pillow + ear plugs.

I'm curious, what was the wait time from when you were sworn in to your first weekend training? I get sworn in on Tuesday and I'm chomping at the bit to get started haha
