I never imagined the NDP was such a hot bed of right wing conservatism.
 
Muclair attempted to drag them closer to centre and almost succeeded till the party faithful came to the rescue and stabbed him in the back, now they are happily back in their comfortable blanket of irrelevancy, ranting and complaining.

rabble.ca & Co. aren't alone in accusing Mulcair of not being quite socialist enough ...
 
I noted during the last election that the NDP and Liberals each got the leader who belonged in the other party.
 
Since the core ideas of Socialism were formulated in the mid 1800's, and Progressivism is also an artifact of the late 19th/early 20th century, it is indeed fair to say the NDP is a very "conservative" organization......
