My CFAT, Medical, Interview done. So how long to wait?

Anytime from 2 minutes to never.
Has the background check been done? What trade are you applying for?
Have you been placed on the competition list yet?
The list is competitive, hence the name, so there could be people that get selected before you, due to their application being more competitive.
Keep living your life until you get an offer. Don't put your ife on hold for an offer that might never come.

My CFAT, fitness test, interview and medical are all also now complete - which I guess just leaves background check.

I think the estimate above - 2 minutes to never - sounds about right!

The advice to go ahead with the rest of your life while the application slow cooks also seems solid.

For me, I started the application in March 2024 and and would estimate (hopefully) perhaps receiving an offer by maybe May 2025. If I receive one at all.

I think it is a good idea to check in with your recruiter every few weeks, but otherwise to just be patient.
