Hope all of you are doing well!
To give some context: I am ROTP CIV U 2nd year in Ontario, LOG O, non ofp, finished BMOQ next course BMOQA still got 2.3 more years to go of education before I get commisoned. I am in a relatively easy university program aswell so I have lots of freetime, I still workout and I am trying to do more military stuff. Also finished loads of DLN.
So far I asked for part time OJE in the G4 cell (super boring just excel all day), I was able to hop on a cool HET tasking as it lined up perfectly with my reading week and had loads of fun doing NCM stuff.
My current COA is to network and wait for more CFTPO positions to open up for short term taskings so I can do more fun stuff.
What can I do to hop on more fun/low- high speed taskings as an OCdt?
I have thought about shooting the cansofcom ops a email an asking them if they needed a OCdt on the weekend to shoot sim rounds at or something. If any of you need another rifle and are located in Toronto feel free to dm me with your ops team info, I am always done for cool stuff provided it fits with my school schedule.
