HK G36k police service rifles in Canada?

I think I just saw some HK G36k in the hands of city police(I don't want to say which city until whatever is going on is over) getting ready for what I can only assume is a raid..
Any possibility I could be correct in my guess at the rifle?

The difference of the rifle I saw and of the G36k is the Police had integrated sight rails instead of iron sights.

Just curious.

It is no secret.

Delta PD in BC employs G36K for patrol and uses C8s for MIERT (Municipal Integrated ERT)

Quite a few services in Canada use the G36K as a patrol, general everyday carbine.
