Q. How is the food and will my dietary needs be accommodated?
A.It depends where you are, on what you eat. The food may not always taste the best, but it does what it is supposed to, which is to keep you going. If you have certain dietary needs (i.e.: allergies, vegetarian, and religious beliefs) you can make requests as long as they are within reason.
Most messes provide a variety of meal items (i.e. salad bar, 2 or 3 types of entrees etc.).
<div align="center">Individual Meal Packet (IMP)</div align>IMP’s are the field rations of the Canadian Forces. They consist of a main course and a dessert, each in their own packets. You can heat up the main course by putting it in boiling water. You also get bread or rice, drink crystals, gum/chocolate bars, and other small tidbits. IMP’s come in several different meal types
