This is a general announcement from the members of the CEFSG that the links on this most excellent site at Army.ca that point to our research site are now out-of-date. In July 2012 our site moved to a new home in Canada and as such we are now in the .CA domain instead of the .COM domain. Any links you find on this site will work if you just change the .COM to .CA in the link address.

The CEFSG group is dedicated to the study of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WWI (aka the Great War of 1914-1919). We welcome any new members who are researching this era or seeking information on a unit or participant in the war. The MATRIX Project provides a summary of almost all of the units that were formed during the conflict, as well as providing a great number of "MATIRX UTILITIES", covering everything from Abbreviations to War Diaries.
