Access to Armoury

I don't know where to put this so here seemed like the closest bet.

I was supposed to be issued security access to Denison Armoury last week, but apparently due to budget cuts, ASU Toronto has no cards to print any security passes. Apparently they were extremely lucky to have little plastic clips for the cards already issued.
I was given a form to fill out and now I whenever I head into the armoury I have to bring this sheet of paper its a huge hassle.
Is this just a waiting game? or should I bring this up the CoC?

You will have to wait until cards are available. Your CoC will already know this issue along with all other units at Dennision. The Commisionaires will issue you a pass when one is available. It is not a huge hassel to show them your paper and be granted access. Other new members or those being posted in will have the same issue as you.

Why doesn't an NDI suffice as access?  Do we need to reinvent the proverbial wheel for ever building?

Denison uses a scan card for entry.  Much like almost every building in Ottawa.

If you have an NDI or temp ID and have reason to be at Denison then you are issued a visiters pass. No ID or expired ID will result in getting an escort pass even if you are military and in uniform meaning someone will be with you at all times.

I beleive since its posting time they are holding on to available passes for reg force members as they are priority. The OP is a new reservist so they would fall lower on the list.
