3VP?

Excuse my ignorance, but can someone explain just who (or what) "3VP' is?  I'm somewhat confused here.
 
They are the Light Infantry Battalion part of the Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry Regiment.

 
They are located in Edmonton AB and they have the Jump Company
 
Ah, well, that's certainly simple enough.  I was going back to edit my post to asked if they were the 3rd PPCLI battalion and I saw the question had been answered.  That's what I suspected but I couldn't decipher "3VP"... I had just assumed it would be 3PPCLI as in 3RCR.

It all makes sense now....
 
VP is the signet of Victoria Patricia the first Colonel in Chief and the regiments namesake.  It is commonly used as an identifier for the regiment as in 1VP or 2VP and of course 3VP or just VP to identify the regiment itself.  It is also in the centre of the cap-badge in the form she used to sign her paintings.
