I called our local recruiting office in PEI today to check the status of my application. All they could tell me is that "the letter has been sent to Ottawa and they are waiting to here from them". What exactly do they mean? What is "the letter"?

I noticed quite a few people are saying that they leave for Borden on such and such a date, but I thought basic was in St. Jean, Quebec?
