Will I be required to do my interview over again?

Good morning,

I have a quick question, I called January 20th, 2015 to make sure there was nothing outstanding for medical they required. i was informed my file was in Ottawa at this time and waiting to be returned to start background checks etc.

However my interview expired as of January 14th. Will my application be pushed along and will they proceed with the background checks? Or do I have to have my interview again before it moves forward?
