Definitely like Somalia and your paras.

Not so nsure my friend. Our paras weren't special operators, nor were they operating in Afghanistan. The article you posted sounds like Navy SEAL behavior.

Misuse of funds and equipment (with some murder) https://www.google.ca/amp/s/static.theintercept.com/amp/seal-team-6-green-beret-mali.html  -  [of course this is Africa and not SE Asia but the misuse of money and equipment alligations sound  similar]

Drugs -

That article doesn't really seem to give much in the way of details in any case. Just a lot of supposition and "insiders".

The article states that "specifics about the alleged war crimes weren’t disclosed in the media reports," so for those of us with an interest in actual facts, a linkage to the Airborne Regiment is pretty tenuous [sorry, too many syllables] weak  at this point.

Mind you, it does say that the International Criminal Court prosecutor has sought permission to investigate alleged crimes in Afghanistan committed by the "the U.S. military and the CIA" -- you may wish to point fingers with care.

Once the investigation is complete we will know more.I agree that US special forces and SEALs have had their share of issues.
