Reserve to reg. force

What happens when you are in the reserves for a while and then want to go into the reg force? Do you start all over again in terms of training, rank ect.? I havn't joined anything yet; I'm just trying to decide what to do.

If you want to be a full time soldier don't waste your time starting in the reserves, apply for the regular force.

I agree, don't bother with the Reserves if you want to go Reg Force, I am in a situation where the recruiter I was talking with talked me into trying the Reserves to make sure I like it, and now I am having a heck of a time trying to go reg force.
