Is there anyone on the board that has a military pension and is close to getting the PSAC pension or getting it?  If so I have a few questions;

1. Do you/will you get two pension cheques or a blended one;

2. Were you limited to the amount of time that you payed into the PSAC pension, i.e did you stop at the combinded 35 year of contributions?

3. If you do get two pension cheques do both get reduced at 65 due to CPP :rage:.

Thanks inadvance.

PSAC = Public Service Alliance of Canada - a union.  You probably mean a pension under the Public Service Superannuation Act, or PSSA.

Lifetime limit is 35 years under federal pension plans combined - CFSA + PSSA + RCMPSA.

There's a pension office in Shediac NB (don't have the 1-800 number handy) that does a very good job of answering your questions - google "PWGSC pension office" and you should be able to find the number and call in.
