Medical rejected

Long story short, It took 2 years to get my top security clearance for NCS and three weeks ago they did medical. I was honest to the core I said I was frustrated due to Canadian job market and I did one counseling with my Family doctor along with that I said I am on anti biotic for chest infection and got mild tendinitis pain which improved with orthotics.To say I got rejection email as deemed unfit. I am devastated as my two year of dedication just been rejected for something I don’t even have and solely for my honesty. I haven’t received mail yet so how long it’s gonna take for the mail to reach home and once I submit my appeal how long it takes the RMO to take decision , I heard it’s 4 week and is that true

OK, but if you're currently on antibiotics for a chest infection, that's a pretty obvious 'no' at this time. I suggest trying to have further discussion with the recruiters to ascertain exactly what aspect of your medical history is the 'no go'... But I'd be willing to bet it's that. That may also mean that once any infection is cleared up, and once you've been assessed as completely good to go and healthy, they may be willing to give you the green light. But yeah, an active chest infection being treated with antibiotics is not something that that would be willing to take a chance on.

Oh man I wish that’s the reason, I haven’t received the letter yet, I got rejection mail on Friday so how long you think I have to wait for letter or should I just talk to them before?technically my chest is fine and I am not on antibiotics now

Couple weeks for your letter, months for an appeal decision once you provide all your evidence.

It states in the email 40 days for the appeal decision but I am still waiting for the letter though , my RMO office is in Toronto

My assumption is that your letter is going to tell you it was your reactive depression, not a chest cold or mild orthotics...

Hmm, is there anyway to know it early?, like I don’t even have a depression honestly I shouldn’t even told them that , it’s sad for my honesty, I guess everyone in Canada are sad and depressed

The fact that you're upset you have integrity says to me you're not ready to deal with adversity and be a member of the CAF. You had to seek medical help because you were upset with your job, that's not a trivial matter. You need to develop some tools to deal with stress as I can guarantee you that the CAF will hit you with way more stress than that.

That’s actually not true coz my reason for frustration was I wasn’t getting job for past 9 years as I am an immigrant it’s tough and I was so happy when I got my clearance and bang this happened but I appreciate your view

Very little chance they make a decision on an appeal in 4 weeks. Letter will come in a few days- weeks and you’ll likely have to get into a specialist for documentation after which I’d suspect a 4-8 month wait. Appeals are the lowest priority of a already slammed medical department

Aww that’s unfortunate, hopefully the Toronto is faster as i got email from Toronto office, all other process is completed and if I would have got my medical cleared I would have enlisted next month or so

Toronto has nothing to do with it. The letter will come from the RMO's office in Ottawa, although the physical letter may have a Borden return address. To ensure consistency and accuracy, there is only one RMO's office for all the recruiting centres. They've never met you in person, all they see is the medical file, so no personal feelings are involved.
Also, as a side note, there was still no guarantee you would have received an offer even if your medical had cleared. Offers are NOT guaranteed just for applying, same as any other job you apply for, and you could have been on the competition list for a long time without ever being selected.

THE (one and only) RMO and the (multiple) CFRC's are completely different animals.
