Hi Jay,

You‘re on the right track. Your best bet is to contact your local Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre, as they have the most up to date information, and can answer all of your questions. Just look in the yellow pages under "Recruiting" to find the centre closest to you.

You can find additional information on Recruiting at http://CdnArmy.ca/info/recruiting.php and in the "Recruiting" forum here.

That should give you a good start, but the Recruiting centres are really the best place for up to date information.

Cheers and good luck.

This is a good site for seeing what the reserves, BMQ, and "life as a newbie" is in the CF. There some information on how to apply to the reserves (by extension, in the regulars too), but mostly, it provides an entertaining context.

Good luck.

Jay, the recruiting centre is at the corner of Bishop and St Catherine. If you live in Montreal you‘ve probably walked by it many times. Its in a large former bank building right on the corner.
