Hello,
I have read a few threads in here and came across someone mentioning the 'geo world' Are they referring to geomatics?
"However, an Engr (note the big "E") can get into specialisetion in construction engineering or the geo world after first doing a tout in a CER. Sapper 6 would be the guy to talk about for more on these Engr career paths."
I have my interview and medical for Engr Officer coming up in a few weeks. I did not go to school for Engineering. I went to school for Geoscience. I am a Geologist. I did my undergraduate in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences and Completed a Masters of Science in Physics & Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and I have studied topics such as geophysics, seismic interpretation etc with some use of GIS. Would I potentially, possibly be qualified for Geomatics?
I guess I will find out in a few weeks, however, I thought I would inquire on here.
