hey guys so im a Canadian citizen but grew up in the states. i received my GED back in 04/05 in the state of Virginia. i now live in sudbury ontario. my questions are as follows. has anyone recruited an individual with a similar background as me with regards to the American GED and if so can i follow through with the application with current GED or do i need to re test and take a Canadian ged test? i appreciate the time and help.

A GED is acceptable for some but not all occupations and chances are, as you possess a GED issued from outside Canada, you will need to have your GED accredited. It just "might" be more cost effective to attempt a recognized Provincial GED Exam here in Canada.
