Reading the CFB Halifax NERT plan, realized my house in the North end was in the 100% fatality zone, so had to laugh at the SOP having an 'orderly evacuation' in there when the peninsula routinely gets gridlocked at rush hour in normal traffic out of there.

That's actually the area of town I lived in; I could never grow anything but weeds, but always had a bumper crop of shrapnel coming up 90+ years later.
Anyway, like Halifax Tar said, this is pretty normal, but just accepted that if something does go wrong at least I was close enough probably won't have time to be scared. At the end of the day, a nuclear generator is just a spicy steam generator.
