I just received a letter stating I don’t meet CEMS cause I haven’t been off anxiety meds for a full year. It’s been almost 7 months now. March will be a year and that’s when they asked me to update them and prove i’ve been able to stay med free with no follow up. I thought it was 6 months for anxiety meds? It says nothing about an appeal so it that even possible?
The medic who did my medical said he was going to recommend my file be approved and said he didn’t see my FDL i submitted for anxiety as an issue as i’ve been off it for 6 months. Why wouldn’t he just tell me it’s a year not 6 months if that is the case across the board? I never had any therapy session.. i never had follow up.. it wasn’t something i was dealing with since childhood. It was a 2 year period that I took meds.
Can someone offer any insight?
