I have been browsing the RMC Website, and I saw that to be admitted into the Engineering Program at RMC, "In addition to the general academic qualifications applicants for the Engineering programme must have completed high school university preparatory courses (normally Grade 12 or provincial equivalent) in the following subjects: English, Chemistry, Physics, and two Mathematics; Functions, and Calculus (if available within the provincial system)." Does that mean I have to take English 12, Chemistry 12, Physics 12, and both Calculus 12 and another Math 12 course?

Another thing I've wondered is this: by "university prep course" do they mean AP courses and such or just Grade 12 academic courses?

Thank you for your time.  :)

Here is the link, if you would like it.

Yep.

English 12
Chemistry 12
Physics 12
Calculus 12 + Functions (never even heard of this) or another Math 12 or University Prep level Math course

They don't need to be AP, Grade 12 academic are sufficient.

Depending on your age/province, you might be able to get free upgrades to your education. I am not sure if you are already out of high school or not, but that is something to consider to make the course load easier to get the required courses done with good grades. I am currently upgrading my education free in BC with "work at your own pace" programs online.

Check out this section too for more info based on your province:
